When you're living in a completely different world experiencing things like epic waterfall hikes, running up mountain sides with old men, and spiders the size of your face, it can be easy to miss the simple little pleasures that God so lovingly sprinkles on life. The smiles you collect from complete strangers or the pleasant aroma just before it rains. That is precisely what I am dedicating this portion of my blog to. Strangely enough, even those things are different here, but there is still enough of a similarity left to elicit some sense of nostalgia. Those awesome little things are the cherry to life's ice cream sundae... and if you slow down and take the time to enjoy them, you might just see how they make life just that…
